Online Therapy in Ohio for Anxiety, Perfectionism, and Religious Trauma

Lately, things may feel more uncertain or harder to trust than they used to. You might find yourself feeling less safe, more on edge, or unsure how to make sense of what’s happening around you. Even if you’re still functioning and showing up in your life, the underlying anxiety, pressure, or emotional weight may be growing in ways that are difficult to ignore.

All sessions are conducted virtually, so you can access therapy from anywhere in Ohio.

Services in Ohio are on a self-pay basis. I do not accept insurance in Ohio at this time. I can, however, provide a Superbill or work with Thriver to assist with Out of Network reimbursement if you are interested.

Who I Help with Online Therapy in Ohio

Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, capable, and used to holding a lot together—but lately things may feel heavier, less steady, or harder to navigate than they used to. There’s a lot happening in our world and it feels so far out of our control that we can find ourselves feeling helpless.

You may find yourself:

  • Feeling more on edge, overwhelmed, or mentally exhausted than you used to

  • Overthinking constantly and struggling to feel settled or at ease

  • Trying to maintain a sense of stability while things around you feel uncertain

  • Feeling pressure to keep functioning, even when it feels like too much

  • Working through guilt, shame, or self-doubt that’s hard to explain

  • Questioning beliefs, expectations, or roles that no longer feel like they fit

  • Feeling stuck between holding everything together and wanting something to change

Why Choose Online Therapy in Ohio

Online therapy allows you to access consistent, specialized support without needing to find a provider locally or adjust your schedule around travel. It can also make it easier to find a therapist who truly understands what you’re navigating—especially if you’re looking for support with anxiety, perfectionism, or religious trauma, which aren’t always easy to find within a limited local network.

While I do not accept insurance in Ohio, many clients choose to work with me on a self-pay basis because it allows for a more individualized, flexible approach to therapy without the restrictions that often come with insurance-based care.

If you have out-of-network benefits, you may be eligible for partial reimbursement. I can provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement, depending on your plan.

Virtual therapy also allows you to:

  • Attend sessions from a space where you feel comfortable and safe and have a comforting pet or blanket with you on the hard days if you want

  • Maintain consistency, even during busy or unpredictable times

  • Focus on deeper, long-term work without feeling rushed or limited by external requirement
